GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Data protection statement within the meaning of Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council), we would inform you of the following.

NAME AND CONTACT DATA OF DATA CONTROLLER
Personal data are in particular

  • access, usage and communication data; For candidates:
  • application with first name, last name, date of birth, place of birth, address, telephone number, email address, specialist areas and particular achievements;
  • CV;
  • profile photo;
  • copies of certificates, publications.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Access, usage and communication data are processed for security reasons and to ensure the functionality of the website. Candidates data; the Futura sponsorship award for young South Tyroleans abroad is a sponsorship award with the aim of honouring young, talented South Tyroleans for their particular professional achievements abroad. Candidates personal data will be processed to permit their participation in this award

The legal bases for the processing of your data are:

  • statutory or legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR);
  • meeting of pre-contractual and contractual measures and obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR);
  • provision of consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR);
  • protection of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Google Analytics
Our website uses functions provided by the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google LLC. Your IP address will be recorded, but anonymised. Personal tracking is not activated. Server log files The website provider automatically collects data and stores such data in server log files for a period of two years. The following data are involved: anonymised IP address, browser and browser version, access time, length of visit. SSL encryption: we use state-of-the-art encryption methods via https to guarantee the security of your data during transmission. Access, usage and communication data are stored and processed for security reasons and to ensure the functionality of our website. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

FOR CANDIDATES
Candidates’ personal data as referred to above will be made available to jury members in digital and analogue form so as to determine the award winners. The legal basis for this is the meeting of the pre-contractual and contractual measures and obligations according to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The winners' personal data, in particular their name, photos, date of birth, place of birth, place of residence, specialist areas and particular achievements, will be published in local media, social networks and on the website “Futura – Promotional Award for Young South Tyroleans Abroad”. The legal basis for this is the consent of the award winners within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Data processed on the basis of consent will be stored until such consent is revoked. Personal data processed on the basis of a legal provision or a contractual obligation will be kept for the period that is absolutely necessary for their processing. Personal data will generally be stored for a period of ten years.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
As a matter of principle, no personal data will be disclosed. As a rule, personal data will be processed within HGV-Service Genossenschaft (HGV), taking account of permissible uses. Personal data may be in certain circumstances be transmitted to processors who must be commissioned for the provision of specialist services. Candidates’ data will be disclosed to the jury members for evaluation and the award winners’ data will be made available to the award sponsors and the partners of the initiative.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Right to information: according to Art. 15 GDPR, you are entitled to receive information as to which personal data are being processed, where these come from, what data are involved, whether they are disclosed and to whom, and what is done with such data. Right to correction and deletion: according to Art. 16 GDPR, you may request the correction or completion of personal data at any time. You also have the right to deletion within the meaning of Art. 17 GDPR. For data that have been published, you have in particular the “right to be forgotten”, i.e. the necessary steps will be taken to delete all links, copies, replications and the like. Right of objection: you may exercise your right of objection in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR at any time and change the consent given with effect for the future, or withdraw it entirely. Right to restriction (or blocking): you may also request the restriction of the processing of personal data within the meaning of Art. 18 GDPR. The data collected may then only be processed with individual consent or processing must then be restricted in actual terms. Right to data portability: according to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to request the transfer of your personal data to another data controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
